How someone searching for your lessons actually reaches you

Google, the in-site search, and the ranking that prefers a complete page over a loud one.

Two searches matter, and they are not the same. Inside BASNETZ, a person types a lesson and a province. The ranking mixes how well the text matches, the rating, how close you are, and whether the page is verified. Completing the page — city, timetable, a real photo — is the ranking. Pages on a paid plan get a small boost in “Best match”, labelled “Promoted” and smaller than the verified badge: it lifts a complete page, it does not replace one.

Outside, search engines read the title, the description, the city, and the structured data we put on every published page. That is why a page named “Mohamed — German teacher, Oran” is findable, and a page named “Mohamed ✨” is not.

You can write a clearer title yourself from the dashboard, under Search listing. Leave it empty and we build one from your name, field and city. Fill it with slogans and you will lose the match you already had.
